In essence a 'baby Barolo', the wine offers an intense ruby red color with characteristic aromas of fresh red fruits. A firm young tannic structure and excellent playful acidity. Grapes were sourced from two separate areas of Montalcino; low-lying southern Castelnuovo and high-altitude north-facing vines. The elegant balance between body and aromatics is a result of this combination, a beautiful blend of Montalcino terroir.
