Heathcote Creek Shiraz 2022 is the latest chapter in a story that began in 2004, when vines were first planted on the deep, ancient Cambrian soils of Heathcote. The vineyard’s first harvest came in 2007, and since then the wines have steadily gained recognition, including silver medals for the 2010 and 2013 vintages, and a stellar 93-point silver medal at the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards for the 2019 vintage.

Now, the 2022 release keeps the momentum going awarded 89 points and a Bronze Medal at the 2024 Decanter World Wine Awards, a huge achievement for such a small-scale operation. This vintage delivers classic Heathcote character: dark plum, blackberry and black cherry fruit layered with licorice, pepper, and savoury spice, all carried on a firm yet silky tannin structure. Aged with care and crafted with minimal intervention, it’s a wine that showcases the unique terroir and the passion behind every bottle.
