Picardy Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir 2022

Picardy Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir 2022

The flagship Pinot Noir from one of Western Australia’s most acclaimed producers, the 2022 Tête de Cuvée is a wine of rare poise and depth. Handcrafted from the Picardy estate’s best parcels, it’s a brooding, structured release that will reward serious time in the cellar.

Aromatically, the wine is layered and restrained — notes of blood plum, dark cherry, forest berries and woodsy spice unfold gradually. Beneath that lies earthy complexity: black tea, petrichor, graphite and brown spice.

On the palate, it’s coiled and concentrated, with a mineral core of dark cherry giving drive and lift. Fine, tightly wound tannins support a long finish, with acidity that brings freshness and balance.

Accolades:

  • 99 Points – Ray Jordan

  • 96 Points – Shanteh Wale

  • 96 Points – Cass Charlick

This is a landmark release for the estate. A must-have for collectors and Pinot lovers seeking Australian wines with Burgundian sensibility.

Cellaring: Best from 2029 to 2036.
