An immigrant from England, William Salter was one of the first people to purchase land in the newly opened land survey known as the Barossa Valley. The Saltram No.1 Shiraz is one of the most decorated wines to be made from the Barossa. Sourced from low-yielding vines primarily along the Eastern fringe of the Barossa Valley floor, the wine is a perfect postcard of the strength, power and character that is typical of iconic Barossa Shiraz.
