Santa Ana Homage Reserve Malbec 2023
Founded in 1891 by Don Luis Tirasso, from the very well-respected Bodegas Santa Ana region in Mendoza, Argentina another classic malbec has been squeezed out of its high-quality vineyards. With some marginally low yearly yields, these grapes are harvested by hand allowing for only the best grapes to be used. This harmonization of centuries old technique and modern technology results in an intense deep red/violet colour tone, a testimony to Santa Ana’s desire of quality and traditional hard work recognized at a National and International level.
Sweet aromas of rich plum and blackberries, combined with subtle vanilla undertones that fill the nose are a result of the wine being aged for 9 months in American Oak, providing good structure and a soft velvety texture with soft tannins and a prolonged aftertaste.
